Armani’s Fuchsia Maharajah

Giorgio Armani is taking an Indian vacation this spring with a vivid limited edition colour collection called Fuchsia Maharajah. It is his International Makeup Artist, Linda Cantello, who translated this inspiration into bold lip and nail colours that will wipe away the memory of a frigid, snow-filled winter. She took her colour cues from the delicate beauty and lively, saturated colours of Indian embroideries – most strikingly the vibrant Indian pinks. With this original palette, Giorgio Armani Beauty turns the spotlight on colour and unveils a pink that is more vibrant, striking and graceful than ever before, in three shades: Maraharajah (fuchsia), Pink Blush (vivid pink) and Garconne Fatale (indigo). You’ll find them in Rouge d’Armani, Rouge Ecstasy and Flash Lacquer (select products).

New Color-Fil technology promises lasting lip colour with no risk of feathering. The secret is a Color Bond polymer, which forms a lightweight, colour trapping mesh uniting pigments and emollients. Its comfortable ‘second skin’ texture glides over the lips and remains impeccable for more than six hours. The white powders often used in classic lipsticks have been replaced by transparent particles to intensify colour radiance.

Rouge Ecstasty, the “CC” Colour & Care lipstick is made of three products rolled into one – a lipstick, a balm and a lip pencil. Enriched with the Melting Cream Complex, this ‘CC’ lipstick contains the perfect balance of ‘creams’ and she butter. It also contains melting ingredients and a moisturizing agent to provide a ‘shield effect’ that captures and locks in the external moisture like a balm for six hours.

This lipstick has another property: it contains new-generation Kaleidoscope Pearls. These translucent and multi-faceted pearlisers refract the light to boost brightness on the lip surface, while delivering dazzling colour.

The Flash Lacquer Crystal Shine Gloss boasts Shape and Shine Memory technology, an elastic crystal-clear film over the lips. Its ingenious texture reshapes itself by recreating a perfectly smooth film, even after blotting the lips. Light is reflected on every point of the lip surface for higher colour luminosity.

Paying tribute to the splendor and brightness of India, Giorgio Armani interprets its three fuchsia pink shades in nail lacquers with ultimate and long-lasting shine.

An iridescent base coat is applied first for a dazzling optical effect. Then, one of the three nail lacquer colours are applied as a top coat. Inspired by paint varnishes designed to saturate colour, the ‘light and diffusing’ technology works like a glaze to create a reverberating effect.

The stretch brush developed by the Giorgio Armani Beauty laboratories curves and opens upon contact with the nail. It has a wide face to entirely coat the nail and a fine edge for high-precision touches.
