The Fall beauty season kicks into full swing this month with a multitude of launches. Here are eight products I think are really interesting.

“When I started out as an aspiring makeup artist, I studied magazine covers to try and recreate the beauty looks. Later, I learned that all covers are retouched. But by then I knew how to make skin look flawless using only makeup,” says New York Makeup Artist Bobbi Brown. “My newest go-to for perfect skin are Retouching Face Pencils. They do it all – cancel out redness, lighten dark, recessed areas, cover brown spots, even, highlight and illuminate – computers or filters required.” The pencils are available in 10 shades from very fair (Illuminate) to dark (Rich).

Calvin Klein Deep Euphoria

A fragrance rose with red petals rimmed in black is the star ingredient in Calvin Klein’s new Deep Euphoria scent for her. It’s classified as a vibrant chypre floral and it contains notes of cascalone, white pepper, mandarin leaves, black magic rose, geranium, jasmine sambac, musk, patchouli and mineral woods. It was created by perfumer Honorine Blanc. Actress Margo Robbie, who stars in the new Suicide Squad feature film, is the face of the scent. She recalls images of a wild evening the morning after in the TV spot.

With the global success of Lancome’s Grandiose mascara, it is no surprise to see the French company adding a complementary eyeliner. What makes this one unique is the adjustable wand that makes creating a cat-eye flick much easier.

 

 

Clarins Autumn 4-Colour Eyeshadow Palette in Brown

French beauty brand Clarins is reinventing the nude palette this fall in warm brown shades. Use them dry for a natural look or wet for a dramatic, evening effect. What makes this palette different is it is enriched with vegetal extract and carnauba wax. The latter comes from Brazil and is a wax that covers palm leaves protecting it from dehydration during the dry season.

Burberry Cat Lashes Mascara

Burberry’s blockbuster mascara launch for Autumn 2016 is called Cat Lashes. It’s an eye-opening volume mascara that creates a cat-eye effect. The hourglass-shaped brush hugs, extends and separates each lash to deliver fanned-out lashes. It comes in might blonde, chestnut brown and jet black.

 

Mugler Les Exceptions Perfumed Candles – Limited Edition
