Valentina Blush (rate it & win)
Roman fashion house Valentino has just unveiled the third fragrance in its Valentina fragrance collection. It’s called Valentina Blush and it joins “Poudre” and “Pink”, both finely crafted luxe scents housed in one of perfumery’s most beautiful bottle designs. While “Pink” is a spirited floral and “Poudre” a soft powdery musk, “Blush” is a sweet and sparkling Oriental for her.
Valentino Haute Couture Summer 2017
The star note in this particular version is Morello Cherry giving it a warm, fruity effect. It’s balanced nicely with spicy pink pepper. Orange blossom was an ideal choice of floral note to balance the cherry as both are considered strong notes. Add in a sweet praline base and you have a sophisticated twist on the fruity-gourmand fragrance trend.
The bottle design features a floral motif taken from the Valentino Haute Couture collection. It was also used on Valentino’s luxe accessories collection. The bottle looks like a piece of art or a home accessory item that would look impressive on a dresser or bathroom vanity.
The Giveaway: I gave away a bottle of Valentina Blush to one lucky reader. To enter, I asked readers to tell me in a blog post comment below how they’d rate the bottle design on a scale of 1 to 10? Stephanie L told us and we drew her name from all entries. Congrats Stephanie!
