Here is a summer sunscreen product that everyone should have in their bags: Clarins’ SPF30 Sunscreen Stick for Sun-Sensitive Areas. It’s a mineral sunscreen that promises high protection from both UVA and UVA rays. It is designed to be used on nose, ears and even lips – all areas the people commonly forget to protect when out in the summer sun. The sensitive formula contains centalla asiatica, a creeping vine that grows in South East Asia, which is traditionally used for its healing and soothing actions. It’s nickname is “Tiger Grass” because tigers in the wild like to roll in its leaves to help heal their wounds. You’ll also find sunflower extract – the oil and wax from the seeds have moisturizing and protective benefits. And shea butter is added for its moisturizing and antioxidant properties.
I find this sun protection stick is so useful to use over any moles or dark spots you may have. It gives an extra layer of protection on spots that you don’t want to see grow any larger or darker.
The Giveaway: I gave away a Clarins SPF30 Sunscreen Stick for Sun-Sensitive Areas to one lucky newsletter subscriber. To enter, I asked readers to tell me in a blog post comment what is their favourite sun protection brand. Shannon L told us and we drew her name from all entries. Congrats Shannon!
