YSL’s Solar Pop Summer Collection was one of my favourites. Not only did it include some great metallic shadows and kiss & blush shades, but the very first collector bronzer. It’s a limited edition piece of art for fans of the silky-matte bronzer.
What I love about this compact is it directly references the Saint Laurent fashion house with its snake skin print reimagined in lime green. It’s immediately eye-catching. The fire-coloured Cassandre YSL logo in orange-red makes a statement. Pop open the compact lid and you’ll see the bronzing powder shaped into sand dunes. The ultra-fine pigments are created using micro-milling machinery to offer pure colour with an unbridled smooth texture. The results is a shine-free finish that created a healthy radiance to your complexion. The limited edition is available in Shade No. 2 called Fire Opal. It’s ideal for anyone looking for mid-tone bronzing.
The Giveaway: I gave away a YSL Les Sahariennes Bronzing Stones Collector to one lucky reader. To enter, I asked readers to tell me in a blog post comment below how they’d rate the packaging on a scale of 1 to 10. Morrigan D told us and we drew her name. Congrats Morrigan!
