Kiehl’s x Jeremyville
Brooklyn-based artist Jeremyville is adding some colourful whimsy to Kiehl’s holiday décor and packaging this season. The award-winning artist has created a series of cheerful, winter wonderland-themed designs inspired by one of New York’s most iconic landmarks: Central Park. He’s dreamt up a magical park filled with happy snowmen, smiling skaters, shining stars and hip Santa. There is a childlike innocence to the drawings that complement Kiehl’s apothecary creations.
“With exhibits in cities like Paris, Seoul and Rio and collaborations with exciting brands like Colette and Mercedes-Benz, Jeremyville is one of the world’s most recognizable illustrators,” says Maria Gustafson, Senior Vice President, Global Creative for Kiehl’s Since 1851. “His imaginative work perfectly completments Kiehl’s creative and eclectic spirit and his more than a creative partner – he is a true friend of Kiehl’s.”
Jeremyville is a New York-based artist who earned an Architecture degree from Sydney University. He now works in a historic brownstone in Brooklyn where he publishes a monthly street newspaper called Jeremyville RAW. He actually grew up in a beachside suburb of Sydney, Australia. These days, his work appears in some of the world’s top museums including: the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, La Casa Encendida Museum in Madrid, the Madre Museum in Naples, a solo show at Colette in Paris, The Cooper Hewitt Museum and Cappellini in NYC. He’s worked on projects for Disney, Converse, Swatch, Uniqlo, VW, Urban Outfitters and Kiehl’s.
