Light Blue Italian Zest

Scent style: fruity-floral for her

Notes: hand-harvested Primofiore lemon, Sicilian cedar, Granny Smith Apple, jasmine, warm musks, amber

Perfumer: Olivier Cresp

Fast fact: Extracted from hand-harvested Primofiore lemon, these fruits are grown from the tree’s first blooms and are considered the very best quality due to their more intense taste. Both the zest and pulp are sensitive to the heat and need to be squeezed according to an ancestral cold-pressing technique called sfumatrice, to produce a true-to-nature essence with gourmand facets.

Light Blue Italain Zest Pour Homme

Scent style: Fresh woody-spicy scent for him

Notes: bergamot, grapefruit, mandarin, pepper, juniper, rosemary, rosewood

Perfumer: Alberto Morillas

Fast fact: Shaped like a small yellow orange, Citrus Bergamia is exclusively grown in Calabria. The essential oil is obtained by peeling the fruit, then cold-pressing the peel to protect its complex, delicate aromas.

Citrus lemon is a species of small evergreen tree in the flowering plant family Rutaceae, native to Asia. Although the origin of lemons is unknown, the fruit is thought to have first grown in Northeast India or China. Lemons entered Europe near Southern Italy in the second century AD during the times of Ancient Rome. It was Christopher Columbus who brought lemon seeds to America in 1493. The quality of lemon essence varies wildly in perfumery and can range from $7 a pound to $30 for premium quality.
